INS (Inertial Navigation System), is a measurement system based on the principle of movement of a body in space.
Measuring the displacement of this in the three linear axes (x, y, z). For this precise measurement, the team consists of three accelerometers and three gyroscopes for each of the axes and several sophisticated sensors with high sensitivity, which can yield exactly the position, orientation and velocity of an object without an external reference.
The application of inertial system represents a significant reduction of environmental impact, achieving a high level of productivity and quality by providing optimal results.
Terra Meridian S.A.S. is the pioneer in the use in Colombia this technology, which has trained and certified in the use of this equipment and extensive experience in their application in lifting seismic lines in various 2D and 3D projects in different types of staff terrain and vegetation.
